Gavel Media is a student-run news organization whose staff includes more than 30 writers and editors.  Membership is open to any current registered students or alumni at Boston College.  No experience is necessary as we have knowledgeable Gaveliers (our endearing term for Gavel Media staff members) ready and willing to help you pursue your interests.

Positions on the editorial team are always available for writers, graphic artists and photographers.  We are also looking to expand our executive team with positions in finance, business services, marketing, social media, technology, online operations and public relations.
