Sequels and book adaptations will take over the big screen as highly anticipated films are released in the coming year. We shouldn't judge a movie by its trailer, but here are the films we hope live up to our expectations in 2015.
Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials Based on the dystopian book series by James Dashner, the second installment of the Maze Runner series hits theaters on September 18. Starring Dylan O’Brien, this sequel promises to be filled with even more surprises than the first.
Paper Towns John Green, author of Looking for Alaska, broke into the cinematic world last year with a bang. The author will bring another quirky and original story line to life with the film adaptation of his hit novel Paper Towns on June 5.
The Divergent Series: Insurgent Shailene Woodley and Theo James return on March 20 as Tris and Four in Insurgent, the next chapter of the Divergent book series. The Intern Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway create an interesting duo in this light-hearted comedy to be released on September 25. Follow the adventures of the pair as De Niro plays the role of Hathaway’s intern at a fashion website.
