WZBC, Boston College’s own radio station, is hosting their spring concert on Tuesday, April 4, at Great Scott in Allston. The 18+ event is $10 if tickets are purchased in advance and $12 if they are purchased at the door, which opens at 8 p.m.
This year, the show is headlined by Sadie Dupuis, also known on stage as Sad13. Dupuis has just released her first solo album, Slugger, a fun feminist pop record that is at odds with the misogyny the singer has found all too prevalent in the industry. Dupuis recorded and produced the album entirely on her own, making it reflect the female autonomy the singer writes about.
Additionally, songwriter Lina Tullgreen and local Boston band Gull Boy will be performing. Great Scott is a fun, intimate venue that allows concert-goers to have a close-up experience of the performance. It’s sure to be a great night full of fun indie music.
