BC Football Ranked No. 23 in Latest AP Poll

For the first time since November 30, 2008, Boston College is nationally ranked. After defeating Wake Forest 41-34 on the road Thursday night, the Eagles received enough votes to place them 23rd in the country.

Finally, BC is beginning to receive national attention again. Whether it be sophomore sensation Anthony Brown leading college football in passing efficiency or senior defensive end Wyatt Ray ranking first in sacks per game, there is a high level of excitement around the Heights after the first 3-0 start since the Matt Ryan era.

The Eagles will look to keep the momentum rolling this coming Saturday in West Lafayette as they take on Purdue at noon. With BC being just one of four ranked ACC teams, Steve Addazio and company have a prime opportunity to make their mark early on this season before diving into the heart of conference play.

I idolize Theo Epstein for bringing me the best day of my life (Cubs 2016 World Series Championship). If I'm not watching women's soccer, I'm likely eating raw pasta.
