RL Grime and Audien Announced as Final Plexapalooza Performers

The Campus Activities Board announced Tuesday that RL Grime will be headlining the final installment of Plexapalooza, accompanied by special guest Audien. The concert will take place January 26 in the titular Plex.

You may know EDM producer and DJ RL Grime from "I Wanna Know," "Stay For It," and "Core." Audien (Nate Rathbun) has made a name for himself with remixes of Halsey's "Colors," Bastille's "Pompeii," and with his own tracks like "Something Better." This is the first (and last) time in Plexapalooza's short history that the concert has featured two headliners.

CAB announced in a video posted on December 7 that this year's event would be the tenth and last Plexapalooza. Past headliners have included The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, and Dillon Francis.

Last year's performer, Cheat Codes, received a less than an enthusiastic welcome, lacking the name recognition of previous years.

This year's announcement comes more than a month later than usual. Last year, CAB's artist reveal dropped on December 13. Tickets go on sale January 21.

Happiest during baseball season, while thinking about goats, and when a Pitbull song comes on in the club.
