Rapper A$AP Ferg posted a video to his Instagram story in which a man can be heard name-dropping Boston College when talking about colleges Ferg is planning to perform at before 2020.
“[Unintelligible], Boston College, and uh, we got Charleston locked in, so we doing those three, but the goal is to have 20 or 30 colleges by 2020,” says the man in the video.
The video appeared on the Boston College Barstool chapter Instagram page Sunday night. Earlier that afternoon, A$AP Ferg (@asapferg) uploaded the clip in a story to his Instagram. The rapper is shown talking to people sitting in a circle, including the person taking the video, in what seems to be an interview or meeting.
Students can be expecting the headliner announcement for Modstock—the spring concert put on by the Campus Activities Board (CAB)—in late April. 2018’s announcement dropped on April 24.
If the rumors are true, A$AP Ferg would be one of the biggest names to headline CAB’s spring concert in recent years. Controversy sullied last year’s appearance by B.o.B., who has rapped about denying the Holocaust and believing the Earth is flat. Previous headliners include Louis the Child, T-Pain, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
Editor's note: This article was updated on April 8. The previous version incorrectly stated that A$AP Ferg was the one speaking in the video posted to Instagram.
