Take Ten: Margo Carlin

Freshman Margo Carlin has proven to be a dominant addition to the Boston College field hockey team, especially after a four-goal performance against Boston University. Learn more about the field hockey forward here.

Hometown: Drexel Hill, PA

Roster Number: 24 

Position: Forward

Education: Carlin is currently enrolled in the Lynch School of Education as an Elementary Education Major. 

Before BC: Carlin served as Captain for her high school field hockey team during her senior year, despite missing the season due to an injury.

She is the Champion: Carlin led her team to appearances at a District Championship as well as a State Championship as a sophomore.

Runs in the Family: Carlin’s mother played field hockey while attending Providence College.

Beyond School: Carlin played for the WC Eagles field hockey club in Pennsylvania where the team became 2016 and 2017 NIT Pool and NCC Champions.

Making Strides: After Sunday afternoon’s game against Boston University, Carlin now holds the freshman starting record with 15 goals so far in the season. 

Grew up in the Arizona desert but my heart is at Fenway. When I’m not watching Patriots games, you can find me grabbing some ramen or catching up on Hawaii Five-O with friends.
