Position: Point Guard

Education: Thornton is a student in the Woods College of Advancing Studies. 

A Blue Devil, a Trojan, and an Eagle: Thornton spent his freshman year at Duke University before transferring to the University of Southern California to complete his undergraduate career; he then became a graduate transfer at BC. 

Before BC: Thornton was listed as a five-star prospect coming out of high school at Findlay Prep. 

Runs in the Family: Thornton’s father played collegiately at Azusa Pacific University before playing professionally in Germany.

Strong Comeback: Despite dislocating his shoulder during his junior year at USC, Thornton went on to lead his team with 139 assists, ranking fifth amongst players in the Pac-12. 

A “Great” Beginning: At ACC Media Day, Thornton referred to BC as “a great education, great school, [and a] great style of play.”

Grew up in the Arizona desert but my heart is at Fenway. When I’m not watching Patriots games, you can find me grabbing some ramen or catching up on Hawaii Five-O with friends.
