Take Ten: Max Richardson

Class: Graduate Student

Hometown: Duluth, Ga.

Number: 14

Position: Linebacker

Education: Richardson is set to graduate from the Woods College of Advancing Studies in 2021.

Runs In the Family: By continuing his career in college football, Richardson followed in the footsteps of his father, who played for the University of Michigan football team from 1974-78.

Wait a Minute: Richardson announced that he would not enter the NFL Draft and would instead use his fifth and final year of eligibility to return for another season with the Eagles.

Another Chance: After injuring his knee and earning a redshirt during his sophomore year, Richardson proved himself during his last two seasons as an undergrad with big plays and good instincts.

2019: Richardson earned five of his career highs during his 2019 season on the Heights, including a 14-tackle performance at Rutgers in September.

Hopeful Future: Despite the struggle that the Boston College defense faced last season, Richardson is hopeful about the 2020 season as his “time here at BC is not done yet, and the best has yet to come.”
