Hometown: Cohasset, Massachusetts

Club Teams: The first club team Pyne played for was the Bay State Breakers. The team made it and won a national championship in 2017. 

High School Career: Pyne went to Noble and Greenough, where she played and was captain of the varsity hockey, lacrosse, and soccer teams. As captain of her hockey team, she led the team to two NEPSAC championships in 2018 and 2020. In 2019 and 2020, Pyne received First Team All-NEPSAC honors. Pyne also played one year of hockey at Notre Dame Academy, where she won a Division 2 state title. For her time at Notre Dame Academy, Pyne also received The Boston Globe and Patriot Ledger Player of the Year honors and all-scholastic honors. 

Boston College: In her freshman year, Pyne played in 11 games and scored her first career goal at Merrimack. At the end of her first year, Pyne had 27 goals and 1 blocked shot. In her sophomore year, she played 33 0f 36 games and was named the Hockey East Co-Player of the Week. She finished with 76 goals and 5 blocked shots.
