The new Brighton Baseball Field opened Tuesday with a five-and-a-half hour game that ultimately went to the Huskies.

Despite starting out on a high note, the Eagles ultimately handed the birdball series 1-2 to the Virginia Cavaliers.

Birdball starts up again Friday, Feb. 16 with a three-game series at Santa Clara.
