Climate advocacy group CJBC announced that university officials have responded for the first time to a list of demands and goals they submitted to the administration.

The International Studies program has requested to be left out of the political science department's proposal, which is currently under review by administrators.

Students and faculty raised concerns related to academic integrity and the impact of Koch Industries business practices on the rest of the world.

Organized by CJBC, in collaboration with students and faculty, the protest will take place on Thursday at 5 p.m. on O'Neill Plaza.

By accepting money from the Koch foundation, BC's political science department would be doing its students a great disservice.

The proposal has been denounced in statements from ALC and CJBC, and a petition is currently circulating among students.

According to CJBC, "a trusted professor" shared that the proposal stipulates climate change will not be discussed within the program.
